Cancer Treatment

What Does Cancer Treatment Entail?

In homeopathy, we do not generalize like traditional medicine does—giving the same type of treatment, such as chemotherapy and radiotherapy, to all who suffer from cancer. Every kind of cancer behaves in a different way, and cancers from the same type behave differently from one person to another. In addition, each of us suffers our illness in a unique manner.

The treatment we prescribe for cancer patients is individualized and depends upon various factors, such as the type of cancer, state, and location. But there are two additional factors that are even more important. First, we try to determine the possible cause of the cancer.

According to our  philosophy, the cause of cancer is most likely to be an emotional conflict. Second, we consider how the patient is living with his condition in the present day. This includes how the patient feels, how the cancer is impacting his life, and the effect it is having upon his environment, family, friends, and work.

What Happens During The Consultation?

A consultation includes analysis of test results in order for the homeopath to determine every aspect of the cancer, from its type and location to its stage. In addition, a homeopathic practitioner will ask about the patient’s emotional and psychological state in such a manner that a patient feels comfortable talking about these symptoms. Because we know that most of the time it is very difficult to openly discuss one’s emotions, we ensure that patients understand they have the power to exercise their own judgment in deciding the limits of what they are willing to discuss. Nevertheless, the more symptoms patients reveal during the consultation, the more exact and individualized the treatment can be.

The consultation also includes a discussion about physical symptoms. These may be side effects from any chemotherapy or radiotherapy, or they may be directly caused by the cancer itself.

The duration of the consultation varies and depends entirely on how open the patient is when he talks with the doctor. A consultation typically lasts from 30 minutes to an hour and a half.

What Type Of Medication Is Used During The Treatment?

The homeopathic treatment for cancer consists of a combination of homeopathic medications, natural nutritional supplements, and an individualized diet. Each patient’s exact prescription or regimen will depend upon his unique state of being as well as any other type of treatment he may be undergoing. In some cases, a physical exercise routine may be recommended. A regular series of counseling sessions and mental exercises may also help with any unresolved conflict. In many cases, depression and a loss of self worth are the principal consequences of a cancer diagnosis. Treatment, such as chemotherapy, radiation, and hormonal therapy can add to the problem. In addition to physical symptoms, these feelings are addressed as part of the foundation of the homeopathic treatment.

In countries like in Mexico, Escozul (blue scorpion venom) is included within the cancer treatment regimen. However, Escozul comes from Cuba, and due to the high price and the difficulty of obtaining and transporting this medicine to Australia, this treatment is still not available in Australia, but we are trying to find a specimen here in Australia with similar characteristics to see if we get similar results.

What Patients are Eligible for Treatment at the Natural Cancer Center?

Our cancer treatment is appropriate for anyone who suffers from, or has suffered from, any type of cancer, or who suspects he or she may have cancer. This includes cancer that is either active or in remission, cancer in stages 1 through 4, end stage cancer, or cancer in metastasis. Our treatment can be adapted to each individual and not only helps to improve the side effects of treatment with chemotherapy, radiation therapy, surgery, or hormonal therapy, but also helps to reduce symptoms caused by the cancer itself.

Quality of life improves considerably in patients that experience our treatment, and in many cases we have seen improved prognostics.

It is of no importance whether the patient is receiving chemotherapy, radiation therapy, or any other treatment. Our treatment does not contradict any other, nor does it cause side effects or relapse.

The Best Time to Begin Treatment

The integrated treatment that we offer can be initiated at any stage, whether the cancer is in an active phase, in remission, or if there is simply a suspicion of cancer. It can also be utilized if the cancer is in metastasis, if it is a secondary cancer, or if it is a recurring one.

How to Prepare for a Consultation

When you come to your consultation, you must bring any and all tests that have been completed before, during, or after the diagnosis of cancer. This documentation will give the doctor specific information he needs to know about the cancer and the treatments received. Such tests include:

  • Laboratory tests
  • Radiation studies (X-ray, CT scan, MRI, Ultrasound)
  • Biopsies (core or fine needle biopsy)
  • Treatments received, with all relevant notes.

Where Our Medicines Come From

All of the medicines used are obtained from us and have been prepared in accordance to the homeopathic laws. Some medications can be purchased the same day at the consultation, and others take about a week to arrive.

Some medications, like Escozul, are shipped from Mexico and originate in Cuba, so it may take even longer to obtain these.

Regarding the natural supplements—some originate in Australia, others in New Zealand, and in exceptional cases, some come from the USA.

Homeopathic medicines are mostly prepared on an as-needed basis by our practice.
